Assistant Commercial Manager
The Body ShopAssistant Commercial Manager involved in data-led analytics to support commercial decisions at The Body Shop. Driving business profitability & growth through insights analysis in a hybrid role.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Maintenance of Core Range Plan, with addition of NPD, Gifts, LE (supported by NPD manager)
- Running Reports to support Key Insight and Analysis
- System accuracy on all core product attributing
- Support Commercial Manager with Global Trading calendar, ATS and stock opportunity requirements
- Support Commercial Manager with COG change feedback to sourcing (and ad hoc on NPD COGs)
- Work closely with Commercial pricing team to enable accurate credits for trading offers and promotions
- Assist NPD Manager with Trading stock management and analysis to support business cases as needed
- Supporting Commercial Manager with analysis on key Global commercial KPIs and areas including: Core Category insight, Most Loved Products and Product Lifecycles Assortment - SKU count size, Global Outlet Assortment, Market gaps vs assortment Global Commercial projects as required
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience in a merchandising / commercial role an advantage
- Experience in an omni channel environment an advantage
- Highly Analytical, comfortable working with large amounts of data
- Strong Organisational Skills and the ability to prioritise and multitask
- Competent verbal and written communication skills
- A strong team player with a customer focussed mindset
- Microsoft Office, Excel in particular
- Power BI an advantage
