About the role
- Recruit for all store-level positions, from associates to store managers, while providing additional support for warehouse operations and HQ roles as needed to meet The Black Tux’s evolving staffing needs.
- Manage job postings on various platforms and maintain up-to-date information in the applicant tracking system (Lever).
- Experience owning a high-volume requisition load of 20+ roles while maintaining speed and candidate experience.
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout the hiring process.
- Ensure candidates receive a positive and seamless experience from application to onboarding.
- Coordinate interviews, including scheduling, candidate communication, and facilitating onsite or virtual interview logistics.
- Draft offer letters and support onboarding processes in partnership with HR.
- Maintain organized and compliant recruitment files and documentation.
- Track and meet key recruitment metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, quality of hire) and identify areas for continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 1+ years of recruiting experience, with a focus on retail or high-volume hiring.
- Must be able to consistently work a schedule aligned with Pacific Time (PST) hours.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Able to juggle multiple roles and priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.
- Passionate about creating an exceptional candidate experience and supporting company culture.

- Experience with ATS platforms (Lever is a plus).
- Proficient in Google Workspace or Microsoft tools; advanced Excel skills are a bonus.
