Designer

• assist in concepting and design of retail fixturing & displays through sketching and/or 2D/3D modeling software such as 3ds Max, Cinema 4d, Solidworks or SketchUp as required
• research and recommend new trends and materials to stay current with design for retail including; display windows, semi-permanent and permanent displays & fixturing, and visual merchandising
• maintain a diligent, self-directed approach to workload while providing accurate and timely communication to coworkers and management
• support the Design team in developing design concepts which include; product/trend research, color, presentation boards/materials and initial product designs

Mechanical Engineer

• work alongside our Engineering team to bring innovative fixture designs to life.
• support clients, sales teams, and engineers by creating detailed SOLIDWORKS models, drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) for quoting, prototyping, and production.
• gain experience with a variety of materials, including wood, metal, and plastic.
• collaborate with vendor partners to understand fabrication techniques and manufacturing processes.
• assist with revisions, redlines, and documentation to ensure accuracy and efficiency across all engineering deliverables.
• collaborate with Product Development, Design, and Sales teams to engineer creative and cost-effective fixture solutions within project budgets and timelines.
• assist in understanding project objectives from clients, Sales, or Fixture Development Project Managers.
• create detailed SOLIDWORKS models, drawings, and BOMs for prototype and production use.
• participate in prototype testing and analysis with internal teams and vendor partners.
• generate PDF drawings and CNC-compatible files for production.
• maintain accurate documentation and revision control for all models and drawings.
• build all CAD models following TBG Engineering SOPs.
• support edits and revisions based on production feedback and material considerations.
• participate in TBG’s Intern Program trainings and meetings.

Intern, Design Engineer

Project Manager

• Assist Print Project Managers with projects from beginning to end.
• Enter orders into systems and assist with goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with Print Project Managers.
• Assist with projects under corporate directives and communicate with Print Project Managers and Sales on projects.
• Follow up regarding customers’ expectations related to project expectations to team members and stakeholders in an effective, timely and clear manner.
• Initiate job orders with ticket numbers and collect complete files, art and data/distribution.
• Upload collected production related files into the TBG system and communicate data and other support information by e-mail.
• Track project milestones and deliverables and proactively communicate change in project scope with Project Managers, identifying potential crises.
• Work on distribution lists and check on job statuses as well as update project trackers.
• Assist Fixture Project Managers with quality control and rework follow up.
• Build, develop, and grow business relationships vital to project success.
• Create PO’s and collect all necessary data for billing the project.
• Follow up and receive PM approval on final product prior to the project leaving the building.
• Perform miscellaneous projects and complete various tasks as requested by Project Management.
