About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide strategic leadership, direction, and oversight of sourcing, vendor management, and procurement functions
  • Develop global sourcing strategies and optimize supplier relationships
  • Manage IT vendor relationships to ensure quality and cost-effective purchasing
  • Collaborate with business line owners and internal departments to consolidate vendors and obtain favorable pricing and services
  • Prepare strategic purchasing plans and manage procurement policies and procedures
  • Deliver executive summaries and presentations to senior leadership on cost, quality, service delivery, gaps, and opportunities
  • Select product and service providers through vendor analysis, supplier research, interviews, and quote evaluation
  • Negotiate pricing for products and services
  • Advise managers and executives on purchasing and vendor assessment standards and processes
  • Ensure third-party vendor controls, including vendor diversity and system/IT purchases
  • Monitor contract renewal, expiration, and pricing dates
  • Develop contractual standards, performance metrics, and reporting requirements
  • Manage the contract repository and lead contract renewals and related administrative processes
  • Resolve contract terms and conditions with internal partners and obtain approvals and signatures
  • Lead Requests for Proposal and Requests for Information from business lines
  • Monitor third-party vendor performance against contractual requirements and service level agreements
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Strong working knowledge of legal and vendor contract terms and conditions
  • Excellent analytical and decision-making skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Consistent track record of producing high-quality results
  • Ability to lead groups toward common goals
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-fostered, multitasking environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
  • No travel required
  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of training and experience
  • 8 years of Sourcing and Procurement experience
  • Successful completion of a background check, including credit, criminal, education, employment, OFAC, and social media background history
