About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Performs complex credit analysis and financial reviews of new and existing loan requests
Analyzes financial statements on complex credit requests
Works with salesperson to structure each loan request
Conducts borrower interview with applicant and/or designated third parties
Contacts salesperson for additional information pertinent to the underwriting activities
Works with customers and sales team to collect required credit information
Verifies existing borrower’s total and current exposure in the loan systems
Generates credit memorandum to include detailed financial analysis
Determines and presents recommended action to senior management
Maintains accurate and complete loan files
Validates that all required authorizations, compliance, and approvals are obtained prior to closing
Creates and maintains approvals and files
Develops close working partnerships with the sales team
Recommends process and operational changes to improve efficiency

Requirements

What you’ll need

Undergraduate degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of training and experience
5 years of commercial credit analysis or fleet/equipment leasing experience
Strong working knowledge and understanding of traditional financial analysis
Strong organizational, time management and prioritization skills to meet loan committee deadlines
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with strong presentation skills
Team player, able to work effectively in a team fostered, multi-tasking environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook
