About the role

  • Serve as a business partner to the Headquarters team, acting as a liaison between your employee population, senior leadership, and the People Team.
  • Advocate on behalf of the Headquarters staff to ensure your people have the tools, resources, and support they and the business need to be successful.
  • Serve as a key stakeholder to help build, iterate, implement and facilitate core People programs (performance reviews, benefits, onboarding/offboarding, training, etc.).
  • Develop and maintain meaningful, high-touch relationships across the Headquarters management team.
  • Understand our business model and goals, partner with Headquarters management to drive business priorities forward.
  • Approach people matters with a compliance-driven mindset, sound judgment, discretion, empathy and confidentiality.
  • Manage employee relations cases and investigations including performance management, conflict resolution, and employee concerns.
  • Perform an array of HR generalist and administrative tasks to ensure data integrity across all systems, reports, and programs.
  • Partner with Headquarters management and Talent team to drive workforce planning and internal mobility efforts.
  • Operate as a change agent, rolling out new programs through strong communications, trainings, and management partnership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent and relevant professional experience.
  • 3+ years’ experience in a People/HR role.
  • Reputation of integrity, accountability, service, and dedicated work ethic.
  • Demonstrated strong competence in core HR areas, federal and state employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Fundamental understanding of the business, key success metrics and organization structures.
  • Ability to confidently coach, mentor and advise employees and management.
  • Deep desire to connect with employees and build relationships; trusted advocate.
  • Self-starter comfortable under pressure in a fast-paced, fluid environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and documentation abilities.
  • Proficient with Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proficient HRIS experience, preferably Workday.
  • SHRM or PHR certification highly preferred.
