Broking Manager

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for the day-to-day management of your team
- Support Team Director in maintaining overall responsibility for business
- Manage administration for the broking team (holidays, sickness, absence)
- Establish recruitment needs and oversee training procedures
- Deal with performance issues quickly and appropriately
- Set personal training plans and conduct appraisals for direct reports
- Provide a quality service to existing clients on all insurance aspects
- Deal with new business, mid-term adjustments, and renewals
- Handle enquiries promptly, referring to the appropriate person if necessary.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Extensive insurance broking experience
- Ability to prioritise and organise own workload
- Excellent relationships skills
- Enthusiasm and problem-solving skills
- Advantageous to have team leader or people management experience.
