About the role
- Dealing with inbound or outbound customer calls, understanding customer needs and providing insurance solutions
- Ensuring calls are answered in a timely, professional manner and delivering exceptional customer experience
- Processing correspondence, renewals activity and new business quotations
- Ensuring workflow activity is completed in accordance with approved business processes
- Complying with approved procedures, customer service standards and external regulatory bodies
- Achieving and maintaining the required competencies for the role
- Identifying and handling customer complaints within the company's complaints procedure
- Maximising business and service opportunities from all contacts to meet commercial targets
- Working as part of an established, friendly and experienced team
Requirements
- Engaging personal communication style
- Positive attitude, resilient, adaptive, receptive, and articulate
- Previous experience in sales or service
- Background in public facing industries such as insurance, retail, and hospitality preferred
- Ability to meet commercial targets and maximise business and service opportunities
