About the role

  • Dealing with inbound or outbound customer calls, understanding customer needs and providing insurance solutions
  • Ensuring calls are answered in a timely, professional manner and delivering exceptional customer experience
  • Processing correspondence, renewals activity and new business quotations
  • Ensuring workflow activity is completed in accordance with approved business processes
  • Complying with approved procedures, customer service standards and external regulatory bodies
  • Achieving and maintaining the required competencies for the role
  • Identifying and handling customer complaints within the company's complaints procedure
  • Maximising business and service opportunities from all contacts to meet commercial targets
  • Working as part of an established, friendly and experienced team

Requirements

  • Engaging personal communication style
  • Positive attitude, resilient, adaptive, receptive, and articulate
  • Previous experience in sales or service
  • Background in public facing industries such as insurance, retail, and hospitality preferred
  • Ability to meet commercial targets and maximise business and service opportunities
