About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Establish new accounts and maintain and service existing accounts within an assigned territory
  • Plan, develop, and implement sales strategies for long-term growth and profitability
  • Sell products to new and existing customers through calls, relationship building, lead generation, and product presentations
  • Create and execute lead-generation plans; locate, evaluate, and recruit potential customers
  • Serve customers, address inquiries, resolve issues, and demonstrate new products and services
  • Manage deal details, price negotiations, credit, and payment terms
  • Forecast and develop plans to achieve sales and gross profit goals
  • Coordinate with internal departments on the transfer or execution of goods, services, and products
  • Participate in marketing and trade activities and recommend changes to marketing approaches
  • Manage administrative requirements
  • Gather and maintain market and trade data
  • Formulate and execute sales plans and share information through reporting

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 4–7 years’ relevant experience required
  • Specialized certifications preferred, specific to the assigned industry
  • Solid understanding of business, financials, products/services, markets, and assigned-account needs
  • High-complexity territory, account management, product/service, or sales processes
  • Ability to plan territory or account approach and manage own resources
  • Ability to set and negotiate product and service terms
  • Compliance with all safety protocols, policies, and procedures
