Accountant

• Manage day‑to‑day accounting operations (AP, AR, general ledger, bank reconciliations).
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Produce statutory financial statements and tax filings in line with Canary Islands and Spanish regulations.
• Support the preparation of US GAAP financial statements and reporting packages for U.S. stakeholders.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, cash‑flow monitoring, and variance analysis.
• Collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors, preparing required documentation.
• Maintain and improve internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures.
• Provide ad‑hoc financial analysis and reports for management decision‑making.
