About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the design, configuration, implementation, and maintenance of DMS, SCADA, OMS, and related OT platforms
  • Assist with configuration, installation, and maintenance of OT systems for reliable grid operations
  • Support development and maintenance of ADMS power system data models
  • Help configure and support DPF, FLISR, and VVC applications
  • Support GIS data extraction, translation, and loading into ADMS
  • Provide daily operational support for OT systems used by field teams, engineering, planning, reporting, and dispatch
  • Troubleshoot issues and escalate complex problems to senior engineers
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support OT applications and improve system performance
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand business needs and improve processes through technology
  • Support documentation, including current and future OT architecture diagrams
  • Participate in testing, deployment, and validation of system updates and enhancements
  • Support regulatory compliance activities
  • Participate in the OT team on-call rotation
  • Support vendor coordination and assist in evaluating tools and solutions
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (preferred ABET-accredited institution)
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience
  • Basic understanding of power systems, SCADA, or industrial control systems
  • Foundational knowledge of hardware, software, and networking concepts
  • Interest in learning real-time T&D control systems and OT environments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and learn from senior engineers
