About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Oversee a team of Senior Project Managers, Project Managers, and Associate Project Managers for the execution of utility-scale wind power construction projects
Lead a team of Project Managers and third-party contractor resources to execute the construction of wind power projects and related substations
Drive collaboration between Wind Execution, Engineering, Development and other internal stakeholders
Provide executive reporting on project portfolio statuses including budget, schedule, resource utilization, and risk assessments
Optimize and maintain a qualified list of EPC contractors for utility scale project execution
Conduct periodic project site visits for quality, safety, and overall execution oversight

Requirements

What you’ll need

10-15 years of renewable energy generation construction experience with at least 5 years of wind construction experience
2-5 years of people/team management experience required
Bachelor’s degree in related field is required, or equivalent work experience
Experience in utility-scale wind construction oversight, HV construction oversight, and energization/commissioning coordination required
Demonstrated ability to evaluate and negotiate EPC/TSA and other relevant contractual agreements; experience with wind PPAs, EPCAs, and TSAs strongly preferred
Outstanding interpersonal skills, including internal and external stakeholder and vendor management
Excellent organizational, project, planning & time management skills
PMI® PMP Certification a plus.
