About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversee a team of Senior Project Managers, Project Managers, and Associate Project Managers for the execution of utility-scale wind power construction projects
  • Lead a team of Project Managers and third-party contractor resources to execute the construction of wind power projects and related substations
  • Drive collaboration between Wind Execution, Engineering, Development and other internal stakeholders
  • Provide executive reporting on project portfolio statuses including budget, schedule, resource utilization, and risk assessments
  • Optimize and maintain a qualified list of EPC contractors for utility scale project execution
  • Conduct periodic project site visits for quality, safety, and overall execution oversight

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 10-15 years of renewable energy generation construction experience with at least 5 years of wind construction experience
  • 2-5 years of people/team management experience required
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field is required, or equivalent work experience
  • Experience in utility-scale wind construction oversight, HV construction oversight, and energization/commissioning coordination required
  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate and negotiate EPC/TSA and other relevant contractual agreements; experience with wind PPAs, EPCAs, and TSAs strongly preferred
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, including internal and external stakeholder and vendor management
  • Excellent organizational, project, planning & time management skills
  • PMI® PMP Certification a plus.
