About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead development of renewable energy projects across CAISO from site selection to execution readiness
- Drive advancement through key milestones including site control, interconnection queue progression, permitting approvals, and commercial structuring
- Develop and manage integrated project schedules, budgets, and risk registers
- Coordinate inputs across interconnection, land, permitting, engineering, environmental, and commercial teams
- Identify and manage risks related to CAISO interconnection, permitting, land constraints, and market considerations
- Lead engagement with landowners, utilities, CAISO stakeholders, permitting agencies, and consultants.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, environmental studies, or related field
- 4–7 years of experience in renewable energy development or related field
- Strong understanding of interconnection, permitting, land, and project development processes
- Experience with CAISO interconnection and California permitting processes (preferred)
