About the role
- Lead the implementation of Enterprise Architecture practices, standards and frameworks for the Digital Team to use in evaluating technology changes for the Renewables Business Unit.
- Lead the transition from point-in-time architecture documentation to structured, governed architecture data that can be analyzed, reused, and kept current by implementing the LeanIX Architectural Solution.
- Lead the architecture review board to review, approve and guide the enterprise on new technology implementations for projects, programs and SaaS solutions.
- Define the maturity stages for application portfolio management (e.g. inventory, assessment, rationalization, modernization) and guide other digital functions in its implementation.
- Establish consistent linkage between business and technology architecture, ensuring capabilities, processes, value streams are mapped in applications, data and technology; ensuring alignment between business and IT strategy to ensure IT capabilities align and business goals.
- Cross-functional alignment of roadmaps and standards and to identify when changes are required.
- Facilitates business and digital alignment through collaborative, consultative leadership, driving digital business strategies and balancing innovation that drives growth with cost optimization and risk mitigation.
- Design and evolve a modernization scorecard that assesses applications, data analytics and IT/OT technologies across architectural criteria that can recommend modernization tactics and effort.
- Reduce risk across the Renewables Business Unit by ensuring deployed technology is secure, resilient and meets policy requirements for privacy, obsolescence and security.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Business, or a related field
- 5 + years of experience in strategic and operations planning and/or business analysis
- 10+ years of experience in at least three disciplines, such as business, information, solution or technical architecture, application development, middleware, information analysis, database management, or operations in a multitier environment
- Demonstrated experience implementing software solutions
- Preference for TOGAF certification
- Experience working with team Agile practices (Prefer Certified PMI-ACP)
