About the role
- Work closely with our cross-mission focused program offices and customers to translate their program needs into modeling, simulation, and analysis tasks.
- Represent the Cross-Mission Effectiveness Department as a technical authority in your area(s) of expertise.
- Independently lead and contribute to technical analysis projects to ensure timely, accurate, and consistent team deliveries.
- Exercise your expertise in understanding, modeling, and analyzing enterprise-level integrated missions.
- Develop and present briefings and reports for program offices and customers.
- Mentor junior staff members on technical and professional development subjects and contribute to a learning environment where it is encouraged to share ideas and feedback.
- Travel occasionally as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (aerospace, astronautical, mechanical, or software), computer science, physics, operations research, or closely related technical field from an accredited school.
- 8 or more years of increasingly responsible professional engineering/scientific experience, including multi-disciplinary systems engineering and/or program management environments.
- Technical understanding of space operations, red vs blue simulations, military utility and capability drawdown, kill chain effectiveness, enterprise architecture resiliency, and/or command and control (C2).
- Advanced experience with Python and C++.
- Demonstrated high level of creativity, initiative, and self-motivation.
- Ability to work on dynamic assignments and adapt to changing customer expectations.
- Collaboration skills for integrating across organizational boundaries and with multiple customers to drive impactful, end-to-end solutions.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with effective oral and written communication skills.
- Current Top Secret/SCI Clearance.
