About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Act as a trusted finance partner to the divisional General Manager and leadership team, supporting and constructively challenging decisions to drive strong commercial outcomes.
Deliver accurate, timely financial reporting, analysis and insight for senior leaders and board‑level executives, helping shape strategic decisions.
Lead planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance management, improving predictability and managing the business to agreed targets.
Use financial data to identify trends, risks and growth opportunities, and translate this into clear, actionable insight for non‑finance stakeholders.
Oversee financial governance, including cash flow, working capital, risk management and compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
Support strategic initiatives including business case development, acquisitions and integration activity, while driving continuous improvement across finance processes.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Significant experience as a senior Finance Business Partner, acting as a trusted advisor to executive‑level, non‑finance leaders.
A recognized accounting qualification, such as ACA, CIMA, ACCA or MBA, with strong financial stewardship and control experience.
A commercial mindset with proven ability to influence strategy, improve performance and drive growth.
Strong financial modelling, forecasting and analysis skills, with experience building and reviewing business cases.
Clear communication and presentation skills, able to explain complex financial topics in a simple, practical way.
Experience in a software or subscription‑based business, including revenue growth, pricing and recurring revenue models. (preferred)
Exposure to mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence, integration and post‑deal performance tracking. (preferred)
Experience operating in a private equity‑backed, high‑growth environment. (preferred)
Comfort working across virtual and matrixed teams in multiple locations. (preferred)
