About the role

  • Own the QA process, defining and continuously refining our quality strategy, workflows, test frameworks, and success metrics across the project.
  • Lead and maintain a high-performing internal QA organization, while establishing effective partnerships and accountability with external QA vendors.
  • Be the primary quality partner to the development teams, providing clear quality signals, risk assessments, and readiness input to inform scheduling, prioritization, and release decisions.
  • Establish and maintain QA standards, documentation, and reporting to ensure clarity and consistency.
  • Oversee vendor QA strategy and performance, including scope definition, quality expectations, and integration with internal QA efforts.
  • Own platform compliance and certification readiness across all target platforms, proactively identifying risks and driving mitigation plans.

Requirements

  • Shipped at least two games in at least a Lead QA capacity and across console(s) and PC.
  • Demonstrated ability to build, lead, and develop high-performing QA teams, including mentoring senior ICs and establishing clear expectations and accountability.
  • Prior experience with TRCs/TCRs.
  • Experience developing test frameworks and plans from project goals and executing them.
  • Unreal Engine experience required.
  • (Bonus) Experience working with an outsource team.
  • (Bonus) JIRA experience
