About the role
- Work on the server-side of the Digital First product
- Analyze, develop and test new product features
- Collaborate with multiple development teams and cloud platform teams
- Design and implement software for high performance and high availability in AWS cloud
- Build a product in accordance with Thales security standards
- Participate in definition/scoping meetings with the team
- Develop, test and deploy to test, pre-production, or production environments using CI/CD
- Monitor and debug solution issues
- Follow agile principles
Requirements
- Master's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science / Software Engineering
- At least 5 years of professional experience in software development
- Strong expertise in Node.js, AWS (or other cloud platforms)
- Ability to develop backend features
- Proficiency in writing functional (Mocha) and unit tests
- Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB)
- Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines (usage and maintenance)
- Ability to manage deployments in production-like environments
- Fluent in English and French
- Team player, agile and detail-oriented
