About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Define and recommend architectures at a given level (solution or solution element) to meet stakeholder expectations, in accordance with standards and reuse policies, the technology roadmap, and company strategy.
  • Balance stakeholder expectations with technical and technological solutions, costs, risks, and schedule.
  • Produce associated documentation (architecture rationale in the design and justification file, product breakdown structure, system/segment design document) and validate the resulting lower-level characteristics (internal or external).
  • Support the solution development cycle and define the co-engineering approach.
  • Manage, throughout the project lifecycle, the definition of corresponding-level specifications, oversight of performance assessment and critical parameters, interface definition, and technical negotiations between stakeholders (internal or external).
  • Participate in ECCF Learning Moments to help disseminate Thales Group engineering best practices.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • You hold a master's-level engineering degree (Bac+5) or equivalent and have solid experience in systems architecture and systems engineering.
  • You are a leader ready to engage and develop your team, promoting collaborative work and stimulating approaches.
  • You are responsible, persuasive, enjoy client engagement, and have strong interpersonal skills.
  • You are familiar with Concept, Design, Experimentation and Simulation tools, as well as modeling tools (such as MBSE).
  • You have experience with integration, verification, validation, qualification (IVVQ), and Agile methods.
