Conduct, contribute and assist in preparation and delivery of Supportability Engineering and Product Support Analyses and reports to improve support systems and optimize maintainability, availability and life cycle cost.
Review vendor documentation to identify maintenance and support requirements and collect technical data for Product and Logistics Support Analysis activities (Functional Analysis; FMECA; RCM; LORA; Maintenance Task Analysis; Sparing Analysis).
Determine required spares and quantities by reviewing technical publications and usage data and liaising with engineering, procurement, service delivery, Technical Authorities or ship staff.
Review and propose amendments to Maintenance Plans, Preventive/Corrective Maintenance Schedules, Instructions and Performance Tests to reduce failures and life cycle costs.
Develop Maintenance Plans, Schedules, Instructions, Performance Tests, Spare Parts Lists and Provisioning Technical Data for new equipment or modifications.
Support AJISS Enterprise stakeholders with maintenance/spares queries and problem reports; manage data within Logistics Support Analysis Record (LSAR).
Conduct Lifecycle Cost Analysis and report Thru Life Costs; assist in preparation and execution of Supportability plans and Engineering Change proposals.
Requirements
An Engineering degree or Technologist diploma in mechanical, electrical, electronic, industrial, reliability or naval engineering.
Five years or more experience conducting Logistics Support Analysis in maintenance and supply support of complex systems or equipment.
Eligibility or ability to obtain authorization for Canadian Controlled Goods Program and Canadian NATO Secret clearance; may involve ITAR/EAR/CIA-controlled access.
Schedule: 40 hours per week.
Hybrid work (mix of home and onsite) and occasional domestic travel required for ship support.
