About the role
- Be responsible for gathering all customer-related technical requirements, applicable industry standard requirements, and higher-level system requirements, and compiling detailed product-level requirements.
- Interface with other engineering disciplines within the company, including RF, antenna, mechanical, electronic, and software, to jointly develop hardware and software requirements to enable design and development.
- Work with the same engineering groups to ensure these requirements are validated and verified by testing or analysis.
- Develop and maintain the system technical baseline, which will involve interfacing with product subject matter experts within Engineering.
- Perform system integration and system-level verification testing.
- Interface with program managers and customers on technical and commercial matters.
- Address production and maintenance issues.
Requirements
- BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 10 years’ experience as a Radio Frequency (RF) engineer
- Strong knowledge of various engineering disciplines including digital, software, mechanical, and power supplies
- Knowledge of terrestrial communications systems and/or satellite communication systems
- Experience in requirements management
- Experience with product life cycle management
