About the role

  • Play a central role in project quality control and in supporting teams
  • Support the Project Quality Engineers team and help ensure consistency of practices, requirements and quality deliverables
  • Provide regular reporting on project progress, areas of concern and ongoing corrective actions
  • Participate in workload management and assignment of projects to the Project Quality Engineers team
  • Lead knowledge capitalization and development within the team
  • Define and structure the project quality approach from the early development phases
  • Serve as the technical and methodological point of reference for project quality engineers
  • Support teams in preparing for and successfully completing design reviews and validation milestones
  • Participate in overseeing the activities of operational quality teams reporting to the technical directorate
  • Contribute to assessing activities required to pass reviews and to verifying quality deliverables
  • Ensure proper application of applicable aerospace standards
  • Act as the primary contact for customers and authorities on project quality matters
  • Coordinate with the Troyes manufacturing site on quality management of major changes to series products
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement of the project quality system and in sharing best practices within the team
  • Collaborate with the company’s other sites in France and abroad

Requirements

  • Engineering degree or equivalent (Master’s level)
  • Significant experience (minimum 8–10 years) in project quality within the aerospace industry, ideally on embedded or complex systems
  • Experience working in a demanding customer environment and on certified projects
  • Proficiency with aerospace Quality frameworks (EN 9100, Part 21G, ETSO/TSO, etc.)
  • Good knowledge of ARP4754, DO-254 / DO-178 and the V-model
  • Knowledge of ABD standards and Airbus customer requirements, as well as APQP, is a plus
  • Proficiency with project quality tools
  • Professional working English required (client interactions and technical documentation)
