About the role

  • Lead the activities of the Mechanical Design Office composed of 2 mechanical design engineers and 3 drafters/CAD technicians
  • Team management: allocate resources, manage workload priorities, and monitor/ensure the team's technical competence on department-specific tasks
  • Manage the department's operating budget, ensuring execution within the framework set by management
  • Analyze, review and validate quotations/estimates related to the department's tasks
  • Oversee mechanical activities during the Study, Mock-up, Prototype, Qualification and Certification phases

Requirements

  • University-level education (Master's degree / Engineering School - Bac+5) in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on design
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Mechanical Engineer, including team management experience
  • Skills: Mechanical engineering
  • 3D software: SOLIDWORKS
  • English: good command (read, written and spoken)
