About the role

  • Quality assurance and analytics: Conduct analyses to ensure production quality, including sample management, laboratory organization, and tests related to shelf-life extension
  • External laboratory coordination: Organize and dispatch samples to external laboratories, monitor and document results, and maintain close communication to resolve queries
  • Hygiene and microbiological controls: Perform regular hygiene inspections and microbiological tests to ensure product and facility hygiene
  • Equipment management and safety: Support maintenance, functionality, and safety of laboratory equipment and carry out regular safety checks
  • HACCP monitoring: Regularly check production for compliance with HACCP measures and ensure implementation of cleaning and disinfection plans
  • Audit support and reporting: Prepare reports for internal audits and assist with external audits and inspections, including product quarantine and release in case of deviations

Requirements

  • Education or degree in Food Technology, Pharmaceutical Technology, Chemistry, or equivalent experience
  • Ideally, professional experience in Quality Management / Quality Assurance / Regulatory Affairs for Food & Beverages
  • Desirable expertise in HACCP, ISO 9001, or organic certification
  • Proficient with common MS Office applications and experience with an ERP system
  • Very good German and good English skills required
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, a sense of responsibility, and an independent, structured working style complete your profile
