About the role
- Provide technical leadership for the team (approx. 5 employees), including capacity planning, onboarding of new staff and fostering a high-performance team culture
- Lead and develop regulatory and quality management in line with legal requirements and company-wide standards
- Review legal requirements, approve labels, prepare declaration recommendations and maintain product specifications
- Ensure and continuously improve the QMS, including planning and conducting internal and external audits (e.g., ISO 9001, Organic, RSPO, Fairtrade, GFSI)
- Assess regulatory risks, develop appropriate measures and implement effective crisis management
- Select, manage and approve suppliers and work closely with internal departments to ensure consistent quality processes
Requirements
- Degree or vocational qualification in food technology, biotechnology, chemical engineering, quality management or a comparable qualification
- Professional experience in Quality Management / Quality Assurance / Regulatory Affairs for food and/or beverages is mandatory
- Expertise in supplier management, conducting audits and developing regulatory strategies
- Ideally experience in implementing and further developing QMS (e.g., ISO 9001, HACCP, IFS) as well as in risk management
- Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken
- Strong communication skills combined with organizational ability and a solution-oriented approach to work
