About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Identify, isolate, document, and fix localization/linguistic issues
  • Verify fixes using test tools or databases
  • Follow and complete Test Cases/Checklists
  • Write bug descriptions based on company standards and client specifications
  • Apply knowledge of user preferences in Target Market to influence the client’s product
  • Collaborate with partner teams in testing the product
  • Offer constructive feedback on gameplay and game balance
  • Complete other tasks deemed appropriate for the role

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Gaming LQA testing experience in mobile devices
  • Right To Work (RTW) docs to work on-site in Hangzhou, China, including Valid Work Permit
  • Familiarity with urban open-world games
  • Understanding of modern/trendy culture is a plus
  • Proficiency in English and French
  • Ability to spot errors in terminology, grammar, punctuation, and linguistic style
  • Willingness to learn and accept constructive feedback
  • Passion for excellence and a good understanding of gaming
  • Experience with software localization or quality assurance, especially in the Video Games industry is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with bug tracking systems (e.g., JIRA, Mantis) or CAT tools (e.g., SDL Trados, MemoQ).
