About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Identify, isolate, document, and fix localization/linguistic issues
- Verify fixes using test tools or databases
- Follow and complete Test Cases/Checklists
- Write bug descriptions based on company standards and client specifications
- Apply knowledge of user preferences in Target Market to influence the client’s product
- Collaborate with partner teams in testing the product
- Offer constructive feedback on gameplay and game balance
- Complete other tasks deemed appropriate for the role
Requirements
What you’ll need- Gaming LQA testing experience in mobile devices
- Right To Work (RTW) docs to work on-site in Hangzhou, China, including Valid Work Permit
- Familiarity with urban open-world games
- Understanding of modern/trendy culture is a plus
- Proficiency in English and French
- Ability to spot errors in terminology, grammar, punctuation, and linguistic style
- Willingness to learn and accept constructive feedback
- Passion for excellence and a good understanding of gaming
- Experience with software localization or quality assurance, especially in the Video Games industry is advantageous.
- Familiarity with bug tracking systems (e.g., JIRA, Mantis) or CAT tools (e.g., SDL Trados, MemoQ).
