About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the Americas region as your business – take full responsibility for commercial performance, profitability, client satisfaction, and long-term growth of your territory.
  • Be a trusted business partner – communicate openly, take ownership of challenges, make informed decisions independently, and escalate risks early when support is needed.
  • Drive new business – lead pitches, negotiations, and client meetings to win new clients and grow existing accounts, while spotting new market opportunities to fuel growth.
  • Set the strategic direction – coordinate how company strategy is rolled out across your region, and guide the client service team on sales and account management to keep clients satisfied and retained.
  • Drive operational excellence – follow established processes while proactively identifying opportunities to improve the way we work, helping the business scale more effectively.
  • Lead and develop your team – set clear goals, monitor progress against them, and invest in the growth and development of your team members.
  • Manage your project portfolio – oversee resource allocation, timelines, and delivery across your projects, stepping in personally on complex or high-profile accounts.
  • Set the standard for quality – define sampling strategies and uphold fieldwork quality standards across your projects.
  • Guide your team's output – review and approve proposals and quotations from junior colleagues, keeping them aligned with client needs and company goals.
  • Track and improve the numbers – monitor KPIs and financial performance, identifying ways to boost efficiency, cut costs, and grow profitability.
  • Represent TGM Research externally – attend conferences and industry events, and collaborate cross-functionally to help shape new products and services.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5–10 years of experience in the market research, consulting, or online panel industry, combining both account management and project management.
  • Proven experience leading and developing teams, with the ability to coach, motivate, and support colleagues.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills, with a track record of winning new business, growing strategic accounts, and leading successful client negotiations.
  • Experience managing budgets and P&L, with a focus on sustainable, profitable growth.
  • Strong understanding of market research methodologies, online sampling, and fieldwork quality standards.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to establish trust with both clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, take ownership of decisions, and deliver results with minimal supervision.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities and continuously improving the way work gets done.
  • Positive, collaborative attitude with the resilience and adaptability to thrive in a fast-growing international environment.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to work within Eastern Time Zone hours (UTC-5 / UTC-4).
