About the role
- Prepare and review individual, trust, and business tax returns
- Handle complex tax scenarios , including 1031 exchanges and multi-state filings
- Conduct thorough tax research on compliance and planning issues
- Collaborate closely with the Tax Manager and Partners to ensure top-tier client service
- Assist in tax planning and projections for high-net-worth clients and businesses
- Serve as a knowledgeable, trusted resource for both clients and internal staff
Requirements
- 3+ years of tax experience (open to more or less for the right fit)
- Strong knowledge of complex returns and tax planning strategies
- Experience with high-net-worth clients a plus
- CPA or EA preferred ( OR working toward certification)
- Confident in performing independent tax research and presenting findings
- Proactive, self-motivated, and dependable – a true team player
- Must be open, honest, and aligned with company values and goals
- Authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future visa sponsorship
