💰 $110,000 - $125,000 per year
About the role
- Lead and manage the accounting team, including remote staff
- Oversee full-cycle property management accounting
- Ensure GAAP-compliant financial reporting
- Drive Month/Quarter/Year-end close processes
- Maintain General Ledger oversight and review journal entries
- Review P&Ls and prepare financial statements
- Lead budgeting and forecasting efforts
- Oversee bank reconciliations and external payroll vendor
- Manage insurance and tax reporting processes
- Partner closely with high-touch property management clients
- Support onboarding of new properties and continued portfolio growth
Requirements
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- 2+ years of supervisory or management experience
- Property management or real estate accounting background
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)
- Yardi Voyager experience REQUIRED
- Strong Excel skills
- Strong GAAP knowledge
