About the role
- Lead and deliver commercial rooftop solar construction projects (500 kW–25 MW)
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously with a portfolio-level mindset
- Mentor and support Project Managers and Project Coordinators
- Track and communicate project status, schedules, budgets, and risks
- Partner closely with internal electrical and construction teams
- Lead internal and external project meetings
- Ensure compliance with safety, permitting, quality, and code requirements
- Proactively identify and resolve project issues before they impact delivery
Requirements
- 5+ years of commercial solar project management experience
- Hands-on rooftop solar experience on the commercial side (required)
- Proven experience leading or overseeing project teams
- Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, inverters, battery storage, and permitting
- Working knowledge of electrical codes and building standards
- OSHA 10 certification (required)
- OSHA 30 (must be obtained within 30 days if not current)
- Project Management certification (must be obtained within 18 months if not current)
