About the role
- Build and grow a book of business, with a strong focus on new business development
- Cold calling, prospecting, and in-person client visits ("boots on the ground")
- Manage and retain existing and lapsed accounts
- Sell across product lines: 60% stock packaging 40% custom packaging
- Close deals ranging from $300 orders to $300K+/month clients
- Sales cycles range from 10 days to 6 months
- Occasionally sell outside assigned territory for strategic accounts
Requirements
- 5+ years of B2B sales experience
- 3+ years in packaging sales- MUST!
- Proven ability to build and manage a pipeline and book of business
- Strong communication skills; highly responsive and proactive
- Comfortable working independently in a remote-first role
