About the role

  • Acquire deep knowledge of our product, customers and domain and understand competitive landscape.
  • Work cross-functionally to vet new solution opportunities, identify new markets and use cases.
  • Contribute to overall product strategy and roadmap in partnership with senior leadership.
  • Meet with customers, including strategic customers, to identify opportunities, determine product-market fit, and validate features.
  • Implement and manage processes for understanding customer challenges, prioritizing product/feature concepts, and A/B testing live features.
  • Mine customer satisfaction/NPS data, support tickets, and utilization data to inform requirements and prioritization.
  • Meet with dissatisfied customers to address concerns.
  • Meet with partners to understand challenges, requirements, and technical infrastructure/APIs.
  • Ideate, develop, and prioritize product and feature concepts for development and partner enablement.
  • Lead UX Design effort in partnership with Engineering; define clear use cases and personas.
  • Work closely with Engineering to ensure feasibility, scope solutions, and estimate timelines; phase work to deliver quick value.
  • Oversee SDLC process and ensure continuous improvement.
  • Cultivate productive relationships across the TextUs team and align GTM communications/assets.
  • Author Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) for Product and lead Product toward successful outcomes.
  • Coach/mentor the Product and UX Design teams; provide guidance to peers; support career pathing and team development.
  • Report to CEO, Martin Payne.

Requirements

  • Natural product evangelist and your orient toward building strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Guide and remove roadblocks while establishing clear expectations and goals.
  • Proven experience running Lean/Kanban development flow within an early stage growth company.
  • Advocate for high alignment between Product and Engineering.
  • Embrace a continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) environment which includes daily releases.
  • Create a team environment where we follow our core values, listen, support, and respect each other.
  • Have experience scaling a Saas application.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
