About the role
- Build-up & development
- Develop the B2B go-to-market strategy for concept stores, furniture retailers, and hotel & gastronomy customers
- Define target segments, offer packages, and pricing/margin logic
- Build a B2B MVP to test and validate the concept
- Proactively acquire retailers and manage existing customers
- Qualify and close initial and follow-up orders
- Establish and maintain long-term retailer relationships
- Participate in trade fairs, showrooms or pop-up events
- Manage the quoting and order process
- Closely coordinate with Operations on delivery times, availability and samples
- Set up basic CRM structures and sales processes
- Systematically capture retailer feedback for optimization
- Analyze relevant KPIs (leads, conversion, average order value/cart, repeat purchases)
- Derive assortment and process optimizations
- Prepare for scaling (automation, retailer programs, key accounts)
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in business development, sales or key account management
- Experience building new sales structures (startup, scale-up or new business unit)
- Excellent communication and persuasion skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset and strong execution skills
- High degree of ownership and a structured way of working
- Willingness to travel – you enjoy meeting customers in person
- Nice to have: experience in retail, interiors, design, D2C or FMCG
- Experience in B2B sales to retailers, concept stores or furniture stores
- Knowledge of CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Pipedrive)
- Trade fair or showroom experience
