About the role
- Serve as the primary human resources contact for a growing global workforce by providing day-to-day guidance on HR policies, employee relations, and performance management.
- Coach and support managers in proactively addressing employee relations issues, fostering team engagement, and navigating sensitive workplace concerns in a constructive, legally compliant, and values-aligned manner.
- Partner with managers and the Learning & Development Specialist to identify learning needs across regions and support the development and implementation of relevant learning and development opportunities.
- Ensure seamless onboarding experiences by coordinating with EOR, People & Culture team members, hiring managers, IT, and other relevant departments.
- Collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand role requirements, team dynamics, and success profiles.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, behavioral science or relevant field, or education equivalent in work experience.
- 3+ years of experience in a generalist or HR business partner role within a global organization.
- Strong understanding of employment law and HR practices in the US.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders and balance global consistency with local nuance.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
- SHRM, HRCI, or CIPD certification or equivalent HR qualification (preferred).
- Experience working for a large non-profit or NGO (preferred).
- Experience partnering with an Employer-of-Record administrator (i.e., Remote) (preferred).
