About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Schedule and conduct in-person or virtual meetings with clients at least quarterly
  • Personalize client interactions based on knowledge of client businesses, families, and interests
  • Resolve disputes and concerns through listening and win-win solutions

  • Prepare tailored product proposals
  • Achieve annual targets for loan originations, deposit account growth, and revenue per relationship
  • Collaborate with product, credit, and treasury teams on objections and market challenges
  • Propose creative credit structures within credit policy
  • Document decisions and rationale
  • Maintain organized, complete, audit-ready credit files
  • Log client communications in CRM and summarize them in writing
  • Comply with fair lending, BSA, and regulatory documentation requirements

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum 5 years in commercial or small business banking, including relationship management, credit analysis, or lending
  • Minimum 2 years in a client-facing relationship management role
  • Demonstrated experience managing a loan or deposit portfolio
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding revenue, cross-selling, or retention targets
  • Community banking or credit union experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • MBA, CFA, or professional banking certification preferred
  • Fluent reading and speaking in both English and Spanish
  • Relationship building, financial acumen, sales and business development, problem-solving, attention to detail, communication, time management, and adaptability
