About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Facilitate immersive laboratory experiences
- Assist with laboratory instruction
- Teach didactic courses in assigned Doctor of Physical Therapy curriculum areas
- Coordinate course administrative duties, including grading student work
- Load course content, assessments, and lecture modules
- Meet with students
- Submit grades in a timely manner
- Meet census and grade deadlines
- Perform additional administrative duties as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- Earned Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or other academic doctoral degree in a related field from a regionally accredited institution
- Current, active, and unencumbered physical therapist license in any United States jurisdiction for licensed physical therapist positions
- Demonstrated content expertise appropriate for assigned teaching responsibilities
- Contemporary clinical experience preferred
- Evidence of ongoing professional development preferred
- ABPTS board certification or other specialty certifications such as OCS, SCS, NCS, PCS, CCS, GCS, or WCS preferred when appropriate
- Curriculum Vitae
- Letter of Interest addressing qualifications
- At least 3 current professional references with full contact information
- Unofficial transcripts
- Copies of required license and certifications
- Completion of criminal history investigation
- Verification of credentials and/or other information required by institutional procedures
