About the role

  • establishing and implementing a scholarly agenda
  • promoting, helping, planning, and participating in community and university service
  • requiring face-to-face interactions through a regular schedule of attendance on campus and in the workplace

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • degree in physical therapy (BS, MS, or DPT) from an accredited institution
  • hold or be eligible for an active, unrestricted Physical Therapy license in any state
  • minimum of three (3) years of full-time clinical practice following licensure
  • demonstrate evidence of professional or community service activities/engagement
  • demonstrate contemporary expertise in areas of teaching (i.e. post-professional certifications, continuing education, etc.)
  • evidence of satisfactory student evaluations
  • demonstrate evidence of participation in the design, conduct or dissemination of original research
  • for Clinical Associate Professor rank, at least five (5) years of full-time teaching experience at the assistant professor rank
  • a minimum of four (4) peer-reviewed publications or presentations
  • minimum of two (2) service activities at the department, college, or university level
  • evidence of satisfactory student evaluations
