About the role

  • Supports the design, development, and implementation of immersive VR applications and simulations.
  • Assists in the development of VR applications and experiences using Unity or Unreal Engine.
  • Tests, troubleshoots, and optimizes VR applications for performance and user experience.
  • Participates in brainstorming sessions and contributes innovative ideas for VR projects.
  • Collaborates with team members, faculty, and students to align technical development with creative goals.
  • Assists with the setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of VR equipment during projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Visualization, Computer Graphics, Computer Science or closely related field.
  • 1 year of experience with VR development platforms such as Unity or Unreal Engine.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as C# or C++.
  • Master’s degree in Visualization, Computer Graphics, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
  • Strong understanding of 3D modeling, VR integration, and interaction design.
  • Prior experience working on immersive or interactive projects.
  • Effective project management and multitasking skills.
  • Knowledge of VR development pipelines and optimization techniques.
