About the role
- Plan, prepare, and deliver lectures, seminars, and/or laboratory offerings to undergraduate and/or graduate students
- Develop course syllabi, select instructional materials, and design assessments
- Assess student performance, provide timely feedback, and evaluate student learning outcomes
- Adhere to university policies, academic integrity standards, and accreditation requirements
Requirements
- Earned masters degree in Communications or a closely related field from an accredited university
- A minimum of 18 graduate hours in the teaching discipline
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
- Teaching in person, online, or as necessitated by student demand
- Holding office hours and providing necessary support to students
- Engaging students in active learning, fostering critical thinking
- Providing academic support and guidance to students through office hours, feedback on assignments, and mentoring
- Incorporating innovative teaching methods, technologies, and pedagogical approaches to enhance student learning and engagement
