About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Adhere to company security procedures and escalate any perceived breaches to the supervisor.
  • Assist and mentor less experienced testers.
  • Attend monthly mentoring and goal-setting sessions with the Line Manager.
  • Ensure bugs, flaws, and issues are accurately documented in English and propose corrections to facilitate fixes.
  • Inform Supervisors of any issues that may slow down, stop, or improve testing progress as early as possible.
  • Maintain strong teamwork by sharing relevant information and contributing to group targets.
  • Present a professional and responsible image when interacting with clients and keep senior staff informed of communications.
  • Complete assigned tasks accurately, thoroughly, and within specified timeframes to identify and report bugs, software flaws, and design issues.
  • Perform testing duties and ad-hoc translation tasks when required.
  • Carry out additional tasks as assigned.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience in a Localization QA (LQA) environment.
  • Proficiency in standard business software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office).
  • Familiarity with a variety of bug databases.
  • Basic familiarity with console, mobile, and PC setup and settings.
  • Knowledge of LQA submission requirements testing (compliance).
  • Familiarity with online test management systems.
  • Clear written communication skills.
  • Clear verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to multitask efficiently.
  • Ability to act as a role model for LQA Technicians.
  • Hardworking and honest.
  • Strong timekeeping and punctuality.
