About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Address production shortfalls by creating WIP (kanban inventory) in bottleneck processes
- Set up, operate, maintain, and perform basic repairs on production equipment
- Follow SOP requirements and perform routine manufacturing operations, including cutting and washing, rodding/derodding, sheath tip operations, dilator tip forming, silicon application, hand assembly, leak testing, RF welding, tube or valve bonding, and curvature insertion
- Perform machine setup and changeover to meet production requirements
- Perform basic preventative maintenance
- Maintain accurate production records and follow the production schedule
- Maintain a clear, organized work area and adequate raw material supply
- Follow TMC Quality System requirements, including process controls, inspection procedures, document/data control, and change control practices
- Troubleshoot and repair production equipment
- Participate in project performance team meetings and provide improvement ideas
- Perform other assigned job-related duties
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working independently
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Strong reasoning and prioritization ability
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to analyze problems logically, identify root causes, and remedy machine performance issues
- Ability to use hand tools and perform mechanical adjustments and repairs
- Ability to perform minor electrical duties after learning the task on the job
- Ability to stand, sit, walk, bend, lift, and twist
- Ability to follow SOPs, production schedules, and TMC Quality System requirements
- Very good attendance record
- Ability to complete gowning procedures for a controlled environment
