About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Evaluate and develop training for all associates in Terumo Interventional Systems (TIS).
- Develop, maintain, and execute product and clinical training curriculums.
- Deliver approved clinical and product messaging via e-learning, self-study, computer-based training assessments, classroom, and virtual training.
- Partner closely with sales, field clinical, marketing, and medical affairs.
- Apply project management techniques to ensure project completion on-time and within budgets.
- Design and develop clinical and product training for new hire training and various training sessions.
- Assess organizational needs and align training strategies based on those needs.
- Lead competency certification for clinical and product knowledge.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and materials.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 7+ years in a Training role required, or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Experience managing sales training curriculums, sales training classes and sales training budgets within prescribed budgetary limits is required.
- Experience in a medical device, biotech or pharmaceutical environment required.
- Demonstrated success in a sales, sales leadership, commercial or sales training and development role is required.
- Training certification a plus.
- Prior people management is a plus.
- Experience in adult learning principles and experience in developing sales curriculum in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Excellent content development, communication, and facilitation skills as evidenced by high quality materials, communicating with different audiences, and learner satisfaction.
