About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Evaluate and develop training for all associates in Terumo Interventional Systems (TIS).
  • Develop, maintain, and execute product and clinical training curriculums.
  • Deliver approved clinical and product messaging via e-learning, self-study, computer-based training assessments, classroom, and virtual training.
  • Partner closely with sales, field clinical, marketing, and medical affairs.
  • Apply project management techniques to ensure project completion on-time and within budgets.
  • Design and develop clinical and product training for new hire training and various training sessions.
  • Assess organizational needs and align training strategies based on those needs.
  • Lead competency certification for clinical and product knowledge.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and materials.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 7+ years in a Training role required, or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • Experience managing sales training curriculums, sales training classes and sales training budgets within prescribed budgetary limits is required.
  • Experience in a medical device, biotech or pharmaceutical environment required.
  • Demonstrated success in a sales, sales leadership, commercial or sales training and development role is required.
  • Training certification a plus.
  • Prior people management is a plus.
  • Experience in adult learning principles and experience in developing sales curriculum in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Excellent content development, communication, and facilitation skills as evidenced by high quality materials, communicating with different audiences, and learner satisfaction.
