About the role
- Coordinate raw material inventories and manage parts availability
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and resolve issues
- Perform inventory control using a warehouse operating system
- Ensure compliance with company guidelines for non-conforming materials
- Assist in training material handlers on procedures and equipment
- Collaborate with Warehouse/Planning/Procurement/Production Departments
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED; some college preferred
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in warehousing/material handling
- Solid background in warehousing procedures and inventory control systems
- Knowledge and use of relevant PC software applications
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and transport up to 500 pounds via carts or mechanized equipment
- Valid forklift license and driver’s license
