About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Management of the team of accounting analysts, including providing feedback and monitoring performance;
Coordination of monthly, quarterly and annual accounting closings;
Review and validation of accounting entries and reconciliations;
Preparation and quality assurance of financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow Statement, Statement of Changes in Equity and notes to the financial statements);
Preparation of explanatory notes, support for audits and guidance on the remediation of any inconsistencies;
Ensure compliance with accounting standards (CPC/IFRS) and applicable legislation;
Support for internal and external audits;
Control and monitoring of provisions, assets, liabilities and contingencies;
Support to the controllership in the analysis of results and variances;
Implementation of process improvements and internal controls;
Management of deadlines and submissions of ancillary filings (ECD, ECF, among others);
Technical support to the team and other areas of the organization.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Accounting;
Solid experience in accounting and consolidated financial statements;
Active CRC (Brazilian Regional Accounting Council registration);
Up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards (CPCs) and accounting legislation;
Experience with ERP systems and system integrations; MS Office at intermediate/advanced level;
Experience in real estate development (incorporation) and the electric power sector is a plus.
