About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assume responsibility for approved projects and manage them across all project phases; from RTB (Ready to Build), construction and grid connection through to commissioning
- Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and to clarify and resolve operational issues on site
- Comprehensive tracking, forecasting and reporting to ensure adherence to cost, schedule and quality targets
- Review, manage and enforce EPC and supplier contracts to ensure full contractual compliance
- Represent the project to external stakeholders such as investors, authorities and grid operators
- Lead project teams and actively contribute to shaping and further developing project standards, benchmarks and processes within the organization
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, e.g., Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or a comparable field
- At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in project management with demonstrable increases in responsibility, task complexity and measurable project successes
- Experience in project commissioning, including tracking contractor performance and issuing site releases in the context of construction progress and quality control
- Strong negotiation skills and a high level of intercultural sensitivity in an international business environment
- Business-fluent English (spoken and written) and German at C1 level
- Willingness to travel extensively within Germany
