About the role

  • Act as the legal sparring partner for Product, Compliance, and Tech teams from the early product development stage onward
  • Provide holistic legal assessments covering regulatory, civil, contractual, and compliance implications of new products
  • Structure legally sound product and third-party frameworks, including vendor, API, liquidity, custody, and infrastructure agreements
  • Draft, negotiate, and review product-related contracts, terms & conditions, and internal policies with strong legal and risk evaluation
  • Support the development of innovative digital asset products while ensuring regulatory compliance
  • Translate regulatory requirements into practical legal frameworks and product guardrails
  • Build scalable legal guidelines and governance structures to support fast, compliant product development
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Compliance, and external partners on new product initiatives

Requirements

  • 6+ years PQE - Qualified lawyer in a European jurisdiction (local qualification is a must, depending on location)
  • Strong understanding of CASP-regulated activities including custody, trading, structuring, and tokenization
  • Prior experience in FinTech, RegTech, or digital assets environments
  • Solid understanding of MiCAR, MiFID II and broader EU financial regulatory frameworks
  • Experience structuring and reviewing agreements related to liquidity providers, custodians, APIs, vendors, and infrastructure partners
  • Strong capability to assess regulatory implications of product innovations in fast-moving environments
  • Business-minded approach balancing regulatory risk with innovation
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with Product and Engineering teams during product design and implementation
  • Structured, pragmatic, and solution-oriented mindset in complex regulatory environments
  • Fluent in English.
