About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for new equipment set-up and commissioning
Troubleshooting and repair for the FUCHS product line
Create content for, and conduct, PowerPoint classroom training and hands-on demonstrations
On-site technical support, installation and service for the FUCHS product line
Understand and educate on equipment designs, specifications and equipment requirements
Document work and prepare field service reports
Escalate equipment quality issues to initiate quality alerts and prevent repeat failures
Provide engineering with field performance data and recommended improvements
Act as a Fuchs Terex advocate
Manage time, skills and resources to maximize work volume with minimal errors
Review reported failures and assist Warranty Administrator with claim evaluation
Support the Help Desk Technician
Assist with the display and simulation of equipment and technical presentation
Assist Training Coordinator with the development and presentation of training materials

Requirements

What you’ll need

High school graduate or GED equivalent
2 years’ experience working knowledge of Electronics, Hydraulics, Engines and Electrical Troubleshooting
Passport for international travel (ability to obtain if not currently in possession of one)
Solid mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems
Ability to read and understand schematics and engineering drawings
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required, both in-person and over the phone
Ability and willingness to make decisions with purpose and a strong sense of urgency to resolve equipment failures promptly
Ability to work independently and use available resources to complete tasks with minimal supervision
Must interact well with others in a diverse environment and be a team player
Must be dependable and punctual
Good computer experience required, including working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Word.
