About the role
- Leads the implementation of the phase gate review process for various projects.
- Manages large-scale programs and oversees assigned project portfolio.
- Coordinates or conducts Project Gate Reviews and provides input to all Gate Reviews.
- Ensures appropriate resource allocation and uses Tenneco’s project management system.
- Escalates project risks and summarizes project status for stakeholders.
- Interacts with customers and suppliers, collaborating with Sales, Engineering, and Operations teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree, PMI Certification, or equivalent experience.
- Min 3-5 years of experience
- Basic print reading
- Product specific nomenclature and materials
- Basic understanding of research, development and testing capabilities
- General knowledge of CAD
- Geometric dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Basic understanding of FEA
- Understanding of Failure Analysis
- Understanding of Costing and Pricing
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing
