About the role
- Develop, implement and maintain programs that protect health and safety of employees and the environment
- Direct and promote safety, environmental and health programs
- Perform daily walks on the production floor to address EHS concerns
- Ensure compliance with governmental regulation and corporate policy
- Lead detailed incident investigations and root cause analysis
Requirements
- BS in Industrial Safety/Hygiene, Occupational Health & Safety sciences, Environmental Science or relevant technical degree required
- Minimum five (5) years working as EHS leader or manager in a production/manufacturing environment
- Proven successful record and experience in a leadership role achieving EHS goals and objectives
- Knowledge of Environmental and Health Safety Systems such as ISO14001 and ISO45001
