About the role
- Lead the Customer Design Team in terms of resource management and administrative/supervisory
- Operate within a defined budget
- Prioritize tasks to improve efficiency
- Report Customer Team KPI performance
- Ensure efficient collaboration with another team within the region
- Develop goals and objectives for the design team linked to global objectives
- Guide and mentor designers and develop plans for training as necessary
- Achieve process and cost efficiencies to meet company and customer goals
- Foster collaboration between the design customer team and other design teams
- Achieve maximum efficiency for program designers and drive continuous improvement
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical design or equivalent technical degree
- Proficient in understanding component/assembly prints
- Experience and expertise in 3D modeling and GD&T
- Expertise using CATIA
